Episode 5:
Fuck That Lame Ass Clown You Were With 🤬

We’ve left the main road, traveling down a back road leading to the country part of the city. Lola sits quietly in her seat staring out of the window into the night.
Pulling off the main highway, we drive down the dirt road until we reach my home.
“You live here?” She asks turning her head to face me.
Driving up to the wooden fence, I put the car in park, opening my door.
“Yeah.” I answer.
She nods her head in approval then leans back in her seat. Exiting the car, I quickly walk over to the gate and press the code. Not wanting to reverse and pull up to the box, I chose to get out instead. As the gate opens, I walk back over to the car, checking my surroundings as I do. When the gate opens, I drive through, watching as it closes remotely behind me.
Pulling into the driveway, the motion sensors detect us, automatically turning the outside lights on. Placing the car in park again, I kill the engine, preparing to exit.
“Do you live alone?” Lola asks hesitantly. “I don’t want to intrude on anything or start any drama.”
That makes me laugh, softening this hard exterior of mine by the second. I’ve laughed more tonight than I have in several years time.
“Now you’re worried about that?” I counter. “That poor girl at Waffle House didn’t stand a chance and now you’re concerned about whether or not I live with someone?”
“I’m not really concerned per say. I just want to know if I’m swinging as soon as I walk in the door or am I able to get some sleep first?” She asks.
“Wow. You ain’t showing no mercy huh? You’re a bold one.” I say laughing. “Lucky for you, I live alone so there will be no one to fight here. I’m single and since I’ve been back home; I’ve only taken a liking to you.”
Lola does that thing where she tucks her hair behind her ears, smiling wide. I can’t wait to see her true beauty, underneath this make up and wig. I want to snatch this shit off her head so bad right now, but I remain calm, keeping my cool.
Opening my car door, I exit, closing the door behind me. Before I can attempt to be a gentleman, Lola opens her car door and exits.
Headlights in the distance startle her causing her to panic a little. As she turns around, she trips over something on the ground, falling backwards into me. I reach for her, holding her against my chest as she shakes with fear in my grasp.
“Who…who…who is that” Did he follow us here? I have to leave. I can’t be here.” She stammers, slightly panicking.
Everything makes more sense now. She thinks Otto is coming for her. No one is dumb enough to follow me home. No one comes here besides my security whom I’ve already said they were on their way. I do have a housekeeper; but she is escorted by security at all times. Plus, she signed an NDA saying she couldn’t talk about her employment for me or where she performs it.
“Relax ma. That bitch won’t ever attempt to follow me here.” I assure her. “No one even knows where I live. You’re the first person I’ve ever brought here outside of my homeboys. Not even my family has been here.”
The black Cadillac Escalade pulls into the driveway, parking right behind me. The doors open and I feel Lola’s body tense in my arms. When my security guard exits the vehicle, her body relaxes against me.
“Here boss.” Jaymo says handing me Lola’s belongings from club. Benny exits the passenger seat coming to stand next to Jaymo. “These are all the things we saw in there that she might’ve wanted. Otto’s ass was in there watching us like a hawk trying to see what we were taking.”
“Thank you.” Lola says reaching for the duffle bag.
Jaymo look at me and only when I nod my head in approval does he extend the bag to Lola. She takes her time searching through the bag and the first thing she does is pull out her phone.
“He didn’t let y’all pack me any clothes? Just these ugly ass wigs and heels?” Lola asks.
“You don’t need any of those rags he’s given you.” I tell her. “We’ll go grab you some clothes tomorrow.”
Lola nods her head and begins to scroll on her phone. Bringing my attention to Jaymo and Benny, I continue speaking with them.
“Y’all boys heading out?” I ask.
“Yeah man.” Benny says. “We bout to slide back into the city. We’ll be over this way when you call us tomorrow.”
After pounding fists with them both, Jaymo and Benny make their way back to the suv.
“Ight. Y’all boys be safe. Don’t fuck the city up too much it’s after 3am and them boys out lurking during this hour.” I call after them.
“That time shit doesn’t matter when you’re making money.” Jaymo hollers back.
After both men jump in the Escalade, I watch as they back out of the driveway, traveling back down the dirt road.
“Wanna go inside now? I ask Lola as her eyes come to rest on me after dancing between our conversation.
Shaking her head, she moves towards my front door like she’s been here before, leading the way inside. Walking around her, she walks closely behind me, going as far as to hold my shirt as if I plan on running from her.
Unlocking the door, I push it open, taking a step back as I do. Stepping ahead of me, Lola enters the home, then I step inside being her, closing the door behind me. Once she’s fully inside, I flick on the closest light to me, watching as she admires the space.
“This is nice.” She coos. “It doesn’t smell like feet or nothing in here. Otto’s place isn’t anywhere as nice as this.”
“That’s because Otto’s lame ass could never be on the same level as me.” I tell her.
Standing at the door, I watch as she walks over to my couch, attempting to take a seat.
“Don’t sit there.” I say stopping her. She immediately stands upright, turning to face me in a confused manner. “This room is just for show. I’ll show you where I like to lounge.”
“It’s the fact that you live alone and have designated places to sit in your house. You must don’t have any kids either huh?” She asks.

Walking over to her, I take her hand in mine, leading her towards the family room. Once there, she takes a seat on the sectional, and I turn on the television.
“Nope. No kids. No wife. No girlfriend. Nothing.” I answer.
“It’s a shame that nobody has come to lock you down yet.” She says scrolling through her phone. “A man like you is very rare and hard to come across these days.”
“Yet here you are.” I tell her.
She blushes, her cheeks turning lighter than her caramel skin color. She looks up quickly before adverting her eyes away.
“May I ask a question?” I ask.
“Shoot.” She says closing her phone screen.
“What is it that you’re continuously looking for in your phone.” I question.
Lola places the phone face down on her leg, just as it begins to bounce up and down.
“Nothing particular. It’s out of habit.” She says.
“Stop worrying about what that clown sent you and focus on this.” I tell her. “You’re safe with me and I can promise you that you’ll have no worries this way. Fuck that lame ass clown you were with because Jakolbi is here now.”
“I’ve heard that line before, but it included a different name.” She scoffs, rolling her eyes.
“Trust me ma, I’m not him. I’m me.” I tell her. “You have to give me a chance in order to see. I’m the type to come through and grab what I want just to show the woman I want a world she’s built for.”
She smiles as I speak, listening deeply to the words I tell her. I may be in over my head here, but this girl is worth a try. She deserves so much more, and I want to be the one who provides it.
